Hopefully, I get the opportunity to visit her beautiful shop. Located at 681 Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn, Martine’s Dream reminds me of a traveler’s paradise. Last but definitely not least for our Black Owned Gift Idea series is none other than Tracy Chambers Vintage.
Owner, Helen Willams Nurse has successfully stocked her collection of vintage finds ranging from the ‘50s all the way to the ‘80s. Appropriately naming her vintage boutique after the infamous Diana Ross’s character from the film, Mahogany, Tracy Chambers Vintage is the ideal shop for those fashionistas looking for one of a kind pieces.

I got the opportunity to learn about so many different shops, vendors, designers that unlike many other individuals, kept their passions paramount regardless of any obstacle. Looking at these individuals, these business owners gave me the necessary drive to continue to push forward regardless of my personal woes.
Granted, I didn’t get the opportunity to present this to you at the date I had in mind initially, I’m glad I got the chance to still present something that I truly loved doing for you all.
