Happy Holidays to all of my fellow fashionistas🎄🎄🎄

I hope you all get the opportunity to spend time with your loved ones and look forward to the New Year quickly approaching.

Welcome back to another installment of Takemetoheights. For those of you entering the site for the first time, welcome. For those that are already familiar, thank you so much for coming back.

For tonight’s blog, I present to all my fashion enthusiasts BLACK OWNED GIFT IDEAS FOR BAE (Getting a Gift for Her)

In the previous blog, I showcased an array of gift ideas for Him. Click here for more details…..

The first gift idea I have for her is brought to you by Bed of Nails. Owner, Candice Idehen opened up Bed of Nails in 2013. Unlike other nail salons, Idehen wanted to create a nail salon for both men and women who ideally wanted to feel luxurious and special. Bed of Nails provides services ranging from manicures, pedicures, nail art, gel services… basically a little bit of everything you can find at Bed of Nails.

Aside from these amazing goodies offered at Bed of Nails, cocktails are also served while customers are pampered at this Harlem nail salon gem. Check out Candice’s website here:

The next idea is none other than 127|East Cosmetics. Brought to you by Nicole Dupree, 127|East Cosmetics provides a line of super pigmented, enriched with essential vitamins, long wearing lippies. Not only are these beauties great for your lips but they also provide them with moisture and give excellent shine. Interested? Be sure to check out Dupree’s, 127|East Cosmetics website here along with her instagram.

The last two Black owned gift ideas for her are for my die hard vintage jetsetters. The first I want to present to you is none other than Martine’s Dream. Her Instagram, ( )alone pushed the envelope for me to showcase her amazing shop as well as character. Hopefully, I get the opportunity to visit her beautiful shop. Located at 681 Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn, Martine’s Dream reminds me of a traveler’s paradise. Hidden gems are stored in this beautiful shop. Be sure to check it out for yourself.

Last but definitely not least for our Black Owned Gift Idea series is none other than Tracy Chambers Vintage.

Owner, Helen Willams Nurse has successfully stocked her collection of vintage finds ranging from the ‘50s all the way to the ‘80s. Appropriately naming her vintage boutique after the infamous Diana Ross’s character from the film, Mahogany, Tracy Chambers Vintage is the ideal shop for those fashionistas looking for one of a kind pieces.

I got the opportunity to learn about so many different shops, vendors, designers that unlike many other individuals, kept their passions paramount regardless of any obstacle. Looking at these individuals, these business owners gave me the necessary drive to continue to push forward regardless of my personal woes.

Granted, I didn’t get the opportunity to present this to you at the date I had in mind initially, I’m glad I got the chance to still present something that I truly loved doing for you all.

With that being said, please be sure to enjoy the rest of your Holidays and stay tuned for what else I have in store. 👀👀👀

With peace and love,
