Go hard or Go Home.

Hey to all the fashion lovers of the world.

Welcome back to another blog post brought to you by the lovely folks here at takemetotheheights.com.

Here I am during my lunch break πŸ˜‚ bringing you a blog post unlike any other post I’ve given to guys in the past. It presents a rather crucial theme that I recently found I had difficulty facing as an adult.

It was brought to my attention that we have this tendency of allowing our very own fears and doubts about pursuing our goals to ultimately get the best of us and in turn shies us away from accomplishing well anything.

Why is it that if it is something that we are truly passionate about, we not only deal with nay sayers, individuals who don’t understand our crafts and talents but alsoΒ our own negative and hurtful thoughts about ourselves?

While having that conversation, I couldn’t help but to think about how often I allowed my excuses and doubts to get the best of me. Now before anyone says or thinks anything, just because I have this space to share my posts with you all, doesn’t necessarily mean I always felt this comfortable in sharing. It took some time for me to get over said doubts and fears.

However, I got stopped in my tracks when I began to plan out for the remainder of the month. I was asked why not do what I have in mind two weeks from now instead of prolonging it all the way into February. All I thought was, this individual just might be on to something.

Here I was making those useless excuses and in turn allowing those thoughts to manifest into presumptions and doubts about not being able to plan out accordingly for reasons unknown.

It was also brought to my attention and was then asked why I chose to make excuses instead of taking that leap of faith and just ultimately “go hard” for myself for a change. Again, I truthfully couldn’t really say anything but agree.

I don’t know if any of you are at the point of just growing frustrated about not fulfilling your goals because of our lame excuses. But let’s all end that now.

It’s 2018 and you still have those opportunities you thought you couldn’t ever fulfill. As long as you start and invest the time, there’s no way nothing or no one can stop you from accomplishing your dreams and tap into your passions.

Always remember to hold your crown πŸ‘‘ and keep moving forward.

Before I continue further, I just wanted to thank that person for making me realize how toxic our excuses can become and in turn doesn’t allow us to excel and transcend into our highest forms. Thank you πŸ’›πŸ’›

Overall, regardless of how cold and or how tired we might get, or what others might say or do or even our own hurtful thoughts and criticisms about ourselves, let’s challenge ourselves.

Let’s walk with the knowledge and power in knowing that we can accomplish just about anything. As long as we invest the time and commitment, we can push forward against all odds and reach for the heights. πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ™ŒπŸΎ

If you’ve reached the end, let me just say thank you for taking the time in reading today’s post. Be sure to leave me comments and stay tuned for what else I’ll have in store. πŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ’›πŸ’›πŸ’›

With peace and so much love,

  1. I enjoyed this blog. It’s very important to manage those nasty tendencies we adapt of self destruction. We are our worst enemies. But we can also be our greatest Allie. Until next time my friend
