Hey y’all and welcome back to Takemetotheheights.com. Thank you so much for coming back and checking out another blog post.

For starters, I just wanted to take this time in apologizing to you all for not staying afloat with my blog site.

As of recently, I have been trying my hardest to get rid of this cold I have. I am convinced it’s the flu since I’ve been feeling rather sick a little after the Fourth of July.  I’ll just continue to load up on vitamin c and ginger for the most part. (Pray for me y’all)

Aside from that, how have y’all been? I’ve missed you all so very much and I promise to deliver just as much content as I was before. I hope everyone has been enjoying this extremely HOT summer we’ve been having. I know my hair hasn’t been lol.

I know I am long overdue for a trim. My hair has been showing me signs lml. I’ll get more into my haircare/hair update in my next hair blog post so please stay tuned for that.

I’ve also been devoting more time to my close friends. I forgot how therapeutic it was for me whenever I got the opportunities to hang out with my friends. A lot of my worries and troubles begin to subside when I dedicate more time to my friends. And yes if you guys are reading this I am shouting all of you out lol. You guys are amazing and mean everything and then some to me. Thank you for always being an ear for me especially in moments of when I needed it the most.

Now in terms of what’s next for Takemetotheheights.com, I have fantastic news to share with you! (Drumroll please….)

I’ll be attending CurlFest in Brooklyn!!!!!!

If you plan on attending please be sure to let me know in the reply section down below. I’d love to meet those who will be attending!

 

I won’t get into too much detail about last year’s CurlFest (lawd) but just know in a nut I am DEFINITELY looking forward to this years.

I also have more news to share with you all but I’ll save that for another blog post.

All in all, it feels amazing being back with another blog post. Thank you for ALWAYS being patient and thank you for taking the time in reading tonight’s blog post.
