Ohhh Snap! Poetry Event

Thanks for tuning into today’s write-up brought to you by the folks over at Takemetotheheights.com! I’ll be exploring my Friday night at Creative Square Studios Brooklyn!

I got the opportunity to attend CSSBK’s event: Ohhh! Snap Poetry Event🙌🏾

When I tell you my life was made and then some that night?!!!! Bruh, I was left speechless by the poets who graced the stage and captivated the audience with their intoxicating insight.

Through their twists and turns of words touching on themes prevalent in our society like racial injustices, love, and so forth, these poets successfully left an imprint with the attendees.

Poets such as Samara,  Hattress, Leah V, i_solanged_ya_bitch, Young I_Aka_YJ, Citoblanko, She_Shi86, Iamsouliel, _artofromancelvg, Rsbexpressions, Parlayliving, Sincity_sota, Wizeprophet, and WritersBlockNYC presented their poems and their spoken word pieces. Collectively, they each brought their personalities, as well as showcased their love for this artistry to their peers.

Ohhh! Snap’s host that night was Dizzybrown718, who delivered his own spin to new age hosting at CSSBK. Friday’s event at Creative Square Studios Bk was the prime example of what happens when more Black spaces are created for expression.

If you weren’t there that night, you definitely missed out on greatness.
