Style Files

Welcome and thank you for joining this installment of Style Files. It is with the utmost gratitude and love that I announce the official return of one of my favorite components of takemetotheheights.com: Fashion!

Fashion has and will always be the cornerstone of why this blog site was ever created.

With that being said, here we have a stylist who has been making some major moves for the film, Queen and Slim (sidebar: I can’t wait to watch it!) She has been pushing the boundaries in fashion. If I had the power, (well coin lol) I would love the opportunity in having her revamp my entire wardrobe. Her risk-taking in mixing colors, prints and adding texture to her looks for clients makes her one of my all-time favorites.

Ladies and gentlemen, readers of Takemetotheheights.com, this month is all about:

Shionat Turini

Shionat Fenty

Costume designer, fashion consultant, and stylist extraordinaire, Shionat’ s budding resume includes creating stunning visuals for Solange’s Don’t Touch My Hair and Cranes in the Sky videos along with Beyonce’s Formation video.

Aside from these projects, Shionat’s clientele also includes the following but isn’t limited to Melina Matsoukas, Jodie-Turner Smith, and Lena Waithe.

Shionat’s work speaks truly of her passion for fashion. Whether it be in films, working on a magazine shoot or working the red carpet, Shionat’s tenacity in this field has truly gone unnoticed. She has truly been a force to reckon with and I am all the way here for these looks and then some.

Check out just a few of my favorite fashionable moments made possible by Shionat for Elle magazine!

Above all else, I can’t wait to see what else this year has in store for Shionat!

Be sure to check out Turini’s Instagram for more of her noteworthy looks here. Let me know if you’ll be watching Queen and Slim in the reply section. Which of these looks was your fave (if it’s all of them that’s fine, I couldn’t decide either😂)

Thank you for checking out this month’s Style Files feature on Shionat Turini! Stay tuned for next month.
